Having just finished chiropractic school, Heather Jerome was looking for an opportunity to open her own private practice. She found out about Community Capital from Steve Gurin at Community National Bank and borrowed under $5,000 to get started. "Community Capital was instrumental in getting my business open," Heather says. "I was unable to secure funding from a traditional bank because I had little equity and little business experience. Community Capital saw my vision and embraced it with me. It has always been my dream to be a Chiropractor and open my own practice and Community Capital helped make that dream a reality. The post-loan assistance was invaluable for me, as I had little business training. It helped me learn how to make excel spreadsheets, track my financials, effectively market my business and much more. I was also pleasantly surprised that the line of credit style of lending allowed me to borrow much less money than I had anticipated since I have been very careful with my finances. In addition, I have a second loan which was used to purchase new equipment. This loan was very easy to secure since I was already a borrower and my new table has made a huge improvement in my back at work! I have been overall very pleased and impressed with CCCV and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to fulfill their business dreams."Visit Jerome Family Chiropractic's website for more information at: www.jeromefamilychiropractic.com.
