Municipal Revolving Loan Funds

In addition to operating its own loan funds, Community Capital administers revolving loan funds on behalf of several Vermont municipalities. In some cases, as with Huntington, the loan fund is available for both small business and owner-occupied housing rehabilitation, with the latter services contracted out to a qualified nonprofit housing agency.

All of the resources associated with these municipal revolving loan funds originated with the Vermont Community Development Program. The funds are generally restricted for use within the municipality and are targeted to low-to-moderate income individuals although there are some exceptions.

In all cases, it’s best to check with a Community Capital Loan Officer for more details on each fund.
